Metalheads are for me,  so annoying NOW!! THEN STOP !!!
I'm on a phase of reject! They are so "lol" with their "\m/" ; and their talks in all by the way!

I guess you wonder why I made this forum then? And indeed why?!
I was prolly way too much in their circle. I learnt enough about it (indeed enough!) to know that metal world isn't mine. Life is also about to explore then I did it and now I turn the page.

For a while now, I was thinking to leave the forum to give it to somebody else whom still care about what they call "Metal".
But I changed my mind. I decided Sword Chant will turn into folk musics!

Roots are the most often the best!


Metal..pffff indeed...
Metalheads aren't metalheads! but guitars pickups are the metalheads!!!
Metal is just a noise the "metalheads" community can thx EMG pickups...

There is some news inside the forum!

Since I hope to bring some people into Medieval and Celtic music in Sword Chant, then this forum so called "Folk Celtic/Medieval/Pagan Folk" will concern only the two first genres from that title now.

"Pagan Folk", a "Neo Folk" part, is also an important genre for our community!
But i'm afraid it disturbed some of my warriors for their threads about "Neo Folk".
At least, I noticed it belong my admin life.

And "Neo Folk" can't be always "Pagan".

Seeing the problem belong "Neo Folk, Pagan Folk, Celtic Folk..." genres, I decided to create a forum dedicated to "Folk Music". I think this is the best & most understanding way concerning "Pagan Folk" and "Neo Folk".
"Folk Music" will concern also "folk", "country", bluegrass"...

You will find these two forums under the category "Other Genres".


Of course, you could talk about these genres inside the "Talks" forum from the "All music related" category. :)

Our dear folk Eidar wanted to face a General.... Maybe he needed a proof of it opponent's power ? ...of MY power ?
Then indeed, he saw it !

We faced each other.
We could hear some metal sounds in the air....
Singing swords.
Dancing swords...But sometimes, dance can reveal lethal.
We fought until his sword turns against himself... while mine stopped at time front of his throat...


Indeed, I didn't kill him XD
The young man needs to learn alot to become a good warrior! - Normal thing.

You can listen to "Vodka" on myspace taken from Karkelo, the new album from Korpiklaani - to be release this june, 26th!

New designed Månegarm website up. Same for Fejd.

The canadian Gaulish Black Metal band Catuvolcus are currently looking for a label to release their first album Vae Victis already out & their next album, both to be distribute world wide.

Sidh & re-releases albums from Bran Barr are one more time delayed due to their label DGF that is out of money. So, they are looking for a new label.

Suidakra added songs Feats of War (Crógacht) / Heresy (Lupine Essence/13 Years of Celtic Wartunes) / Morrigan (Lays From Afar) / An Dúdlachd (Auld Lang Syne/13 Years of Celtic Wartunes) on their myspace.

Two songs added on Nomans Land' space! The songs Shield of Northern Fjords & Valhalla Calls are taken from their new album so called Farnord. Its release date is set to 29th of August 2009.

The flutist Mara Davis and Matthew Bell from Trolhaugen appears on the new Folkodia release and plays Guitars, Acoustic guitars, Mandolin, Nylon string guitars, Lute, Bass there. Folkodia release is called "In a time of Legends" and is out since May, 25th!. Hildr Valkyrie takes also part of the great adventure.

The album's limited edition Black Sails At Midnight from Alestorm includes a live bonus DVD featuring the buccaneer's entire 2008 Wacken performance.
